Five bridges!? - What's the difference?
If you're looking for a bridge for a "new-build" guitar, the difference between these bridges is largely stylistic rather than related to performance. The main choice to make is if you prefer the "6 screw" mounting arrangement of the BRST09/10 or the "mounting post" style of the BRST05, 06 or 07.
If you're looking for a replacement bridge, take a close look at how your existing bridge attaches to the top of the guitar. BRST09/10 are the more traditional 6-screw design, whereas BRST05,06 & 07 all utilise mounting posts in a more modern "fulcrum" arrangement.
The difference between BRST09 & BRST10 is the BRST09 has pressed steel saddles and, more importantly, 11.3mm string spacing and 2, 3/16" mounting hole spacing - making it an ideal replacement for many "traditional" US models.
The BRST11 is a pressed Steel saddle bridge like the BRST09, although this bridge has 52.5mm string spacing.
You'll need to measure between the existing "6 screws" or mounting posts and check the diagrams to make sure the bridge you choose will fit. It's also worth measuring your existing Trem Block (the chunky piece of metal between the bridge and the springs) - If yours measures 40mm deep, then it's the same as these bridges. If not, you'll probably find it's an interchangeable part. Drop me an email for more details.
